Have you guys heard of ChatGPT? It’s a new AI-based natural-language chat bot/search engine. You can ask questions in normal language, and it responds somewhat like a human.

Anyway, you can ask it to tell you a story. You can give it as much or as little detail to include in the story as you like.

Naturally, I wanted to see what it would say if I asked it to tell a story about a guy getting stuck in the mud.

Turns out it’s awesome! It would be cool if we posted more good stories.

Here’s the story it came up with:

Andrew had always been a bit of a rebel. He liked to do things his own way, even if it meant breaking the rules or going against the norm. So when he turned 18 and got his driver's license, he felt like he could finally be free to do whatever he wanted.
On this particular day, Andrew was feeling hot and stuffy as he drove home from work. He had been cooped up in an office all day and was desperate for some fresh air. Without thinking, he slipped off his shoes and placed his bare feet on the pedals. He also took off his shirt, revealing his muscular chest and arms.
As he drove, the cool breeze from the open windows felt refreshing on his skin. He turned onto a back road, thinking it would be a scenic route home. But as he drove, the road became more and more overgrown and narrow.
"I must have taken a wrong turn somewhere," Andrew thought to himself as he tried to turn around. But as he attempted to make a three-point turn, he felt his car start to slide. He tried to correct the steering, but it was too late. The car was stuck, sinking deeper and deeper into the muddy ground.
Andrew let out a curse as he realized his bare chest and feet were going to be covered in mud. He tried to push the car out of the mud, but it was no use. He was stuck.
As he sat there, feeling embarrassed and frustrated, he remembered that his friend Josh had a BMW with four-wheel drive. He grabbed his phone and called Josh, hoping he was still awake.
To Andrew's relief, Josh answered on the first ring. "Hey man, what's up?" he asked.
"I'm stuck in the mud and I could use some help," Andrew replied.
      "Where are you?" Josh asked.
Andrew gave him the location and waited anxiously as he heard Josh start his car. It wasn't long before he saw the headlights of Josh's BMW coming down the road.
Josh pulled up next to Andrew's car and got out, a smug grin on his face. "Looks like you could use a little help from a real man with a real car," he said.
Andrew couldn't help but roll his eyes. Josh had always been a bit of a show-off, especially when it came to his BMW. But Andrew was just glad to see a friendly face.
"Thanks for coming to get me," Andrew said as Josh hooked up a tow rope to his car.
With Josh's help, Andrew was able to get his car out of the mud and back on the road. As they drove home, Andrew couldn't help but feel grateful for his friend's help. He also couldn't help but feel a little silly for driving barefoot and shirtless and getting his car stuck in the mud. He made a mental note to always pay attention to the road conditions and to always wear appropriate clothing when driving, especially in wet or muddy conditions.
From that day on, Andrew learned to be a little more responsible behind the wheel. He still liked to have a little fun and break the rules every now and then, but he knew when it was appropriate and when it was not. And he was grateful to have a good friend like Josh who was always there to help him out.

Amazing! Does the program solicit feedback? Maybe it learns. Maybe others have asked for the same kind of story and it has experience by now. Has anyone come up with a term for a closet-case stucklover?

@Florian Yes, it does solicit feedback. You can even ask it revise the story to add detail or change elements.

If you want the story about an older guy in a Dodge Ram with boots on, you can specify that.

If you want it to be a snowstorm with four guys in the car smoking the tires, you can specify that.

You guys should try it out and post the results!
