I wasn't a regular watcher of this tv series, "Smallville"....but, John Schneider played his dad and I do remember an episode where John Schnieder got his truck stuck in mud and a young Clark Kent had to assist in getting his truck out! My first STUCK was when I had my drivers permit at 16. I worked for my uncle on the weekends while in high school helping him install cabinets in houses being built.
