If It had taken any longer to get free I would have gone blind. I have quite a few more stories to come and always up for Messaging

I always get so hard when I’m helplessly spinning in the mud. As I get time I will write out my other stucks soon

What is everyone using to record their stuck?
I have a dash cam but it’s not doing it for me as no wheels and outside sound is muffled.
Thinking about getting a cheap action camera off internet on a sucker mount so I can film my spinning tires

It’s a shame COVID cancelled this years fairs I was looking forward to them

Last Christmas I explored one of the huge Christmas shopping fairs that are now springing up all over the place. It had rained for weeks before and I was convinced it would never go ahead. Arriving at the parking field the place was a mess everyone was stuck the field was a bog. I was in my old Nissan patrol 4x4 so was confident I would at lest get onto the field and park up unaided. When time to leave the exit was at the top of the field and was going to be tough. Leaving it in 4h I started the climb out of the field, it was going fine until one of the tractors that was pulling everybody else cut across me and I had to slam to a stop. Huge mistake planting my boot on the pedal and I went nowhere, all 4 wheels spun helplessly in the clay. Trying to rock myself out was digging me in deeper. I Turned off the traction control and thought I might as-well have a bit of fun. Slamming my boot to the floor all 4 wheels dug in and flung clay in every direction the only place I was heading was down, continuing to floor it I inched forward as the bulge in my jeans grew ever bigger. I wasn’t making any progress forwards so I put it in reverse and managed to back out of the hole I had made.forwards again and as all 4 wheels spun fighting for grip I made a few meters progress before hitting a really soft spot and one of my wheels starting sinking again. My jeans where at bursting point and I was throbbing like no tomorrow. Getting out to asses the situation I step out and both my tall hunting boots sink into the slop 1/2 way up the shaft slipping round the back to see the other side confirmed it the tire had dug in down to the hub in the gooey field Even my boots where stuck tugging at them I manage to get back in the patrol. Flooring it backwards I again break free but at a cost, I blew my load over my jeans and boots, backing up all the way to the bottom I give it everything the engine screening , all 4 tires chucking up clay all around me I make it to the top. Stopping to look at my 4x4 my once blue patrol was now totally brown but I made it

Went to help out a farming friend of mine, while he drove across the field he sunk into in. Took a lot of spinning and rocking to get going again
