Giving directions

Let's imagine a situation where you are walking on the street and a stranger stops with his car beside you, asking for directions because he is lost. There is a muddy dirt road just a couple streets away.

Would you give him directions leading him there? What are your thoughts on this?

Of course I would show him the muddy road and point it out to him. It depends on what kind of vehicle he drives. This would definitely be appropriate for an SUV, as well as for a BMW or Mercedes with rear-wheel drive. I would first watch him struggle and then offer my help to push
