I had a manual for years, then I got an automatic. I decided I like to have my hands free while I'm stuck. Also, most trucks now have a higher tow rating with automatic.

I have gotten stuck with both auto and stick. Looking back, I enjoyed the auto better myself. Having my hands free, I had more fun doing other things.

Sure thing bud, give me a beat up muddy truck-dont have to worry about dirty boots cakin the pedals and getting a bit dirty inside. Working the gears and the clutch adds to fun of getting bogged.
