Finally thawing out

I live far enough north that a brutal winter shouldn’t be a surprise but -40 to -50C just isn’t fun. Especially thirteen solid weeks of it. The ice is actually sticky, and a camera battery lasts an average of 15 seconds before powering down. So any kind of fun had to wait.
We’re finally above zero Celsius and it it glorious.
I’m also back at my wifi for a couple weeks now too.

@rauhbein1 no outside help getting out, but I did have to shovel out underneath. When I first backed in and sunk it, the spare tire caught on the ice and that’s what kept me stuck, it hooked me in. I didn’t get hard this time, mostly because the old guy who runs the loader on my airfield was watching. But I did get that little bit of moisture down there

@thommo me too…. Though I’m more excited for the new ride. Nissan Pathfinder, 2009, motor just barely broken in. Finally getting into a 4x4, which might lead to a couple real good stucks since I can go places I can’t with the truck
