When extreme off-roading, all attention is focused on overcoming the obstacle. It is very difficult to get to something else. It's much better to enjoy going to a stuck zone and knowing that you can free yourself with no problem (by changing gear or using 4WD instead of 2WD). There you can pay 100% attention to the moment and enjoy trying to get "the pump" to reach the dashboard... hehe. Another very different thing is to be a companion or public.

I totally agree. RWD's are much better.

The feel of good pedals under running shoes, the sound of tires, the sound of stones splashing the underbody, the smell of burnt tires and marks left on the spot.
