If you cant provide content far enough. I myself can't currently. Asking users to just share stuff is not fair if your their going to share themselves
The best method is just make it well known that if you have content you can share then feel free to. Everyone will appreciate whatever we can get I feel. If you don't then instead start a discussion instead of just flat out asking for pics/videos
