Found this on YouTube. Short clip from a 1962 b/w movie called "Guns of Darknness". The three people in the car are escaping a South American country that is in political upheaval. Hence the reason they are in a car taking the backroads. -
Wow, a stuck video with both men and women! And a good quicksand/mud scene as well !! Something for every one!
-
@truckstuckdave - Yeah! I really liked the part where the rear driver's side tire first hits the mud and immediately sinks down and the tires are spinning badly! My favorite part! Interestingly enough, actor David Niven who was driving, would get stuck once more in a Walt Disney/Herbie Lovebug film where he is driving a race car that gets stuck in mud (or, sand) ...but, he does get his car stuck driving it in that film as well.

I'd be happy with just getting stuck. The car sinks into semi liquid ground with little trace after the 3 people narrowly escape.
Some other classic film stuck scenes include Paul Newman backing a car into wet grass on a rainy night in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. Phil Silvers (I think) spins out his tires on a dirt grade in It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. -
Yes, the Paul Newman and Phil Silvers stuck scenes are sexy!
-
@westfil11 - Driving off into a sludgy, sticky MUD river...can bog down a car very easily! As the video shows...
-
Cars get stuck very fast
-
Yes, they do! Especially, with a heavy foot driving!
-
@westfil11 - Yes, it can! Street tires don't help!
