That winter, the weather had called for snow. Unfortunately, they were wrong; we instead got freezing rain for days instead. After returning home, I noticed a Grey Mountaineer SUV stuck in a muddy ditch, right across from our house. He’d tried to escape but using wood or large rocks for traction, but the ditch wouldn’t let him go.
He’d tried every 30 to 45 minutes to spin his tires in the mud and escape, but he couldn’t. I relished the sound of his truck’s rough revving motor :3
He was stuck there for hours, until almost midnight. By then, a truck that happened to have a winch pulled him out in one go.
