The guy was much older than me and we never got to know eachother, though I considered him a it of a hero. He died of appendicitis at 21. He was a bit of a card, playing tricks on his bicycle when he was following the cows through the vilge - in his wellingtons. He seemed to be able to spin the handlebars 360 degrees somehow, showing off to anyone watching. His memory lives on for spinniing his tractor wheels and getting his Fordson N properly stuck. We could have made music.

I have a knot in my stomach, thinking, maybe the tires will grab. My boot delicately pushing on the gas. My heart racing. Come on come. Gripping the steering wheel so tight, I can hear my leather gloves squeak.
I give it more gas, engine revving, but the tires spin in the icy ruts. So I let off the gas and put my boot on the brake. Ok, that isn't working, and slowly back down the hill. Wondering if i should try to drive up the hill in the snow where there aren't ruts. Wondering if I'll get enough traction to get up the hill. Starting to get worried that i'm trapped

It is getting colder now that the sun has gone done. I'm sitting there thinking, ok, I can do this. But also thinking how much I enjoyed that feeling as the tires spin. But also thinking I need to get out of here, it is getting late and there is no one around to help.
I sit there a second. Then i reach up with a gloved hand and put it in drive. Thinking ok, i need more speed so i can get up the hill. I dont realize, yet how icy the rut i'm sitting is until i push on the gas and the tires spin in the icy rut on level ground. That zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz sound, no no no, I'm not at the hill. Even more erotic that this is happening in the parking lot at work. I give it more gas and slowly start moving, trying to get enough speed to get up the hill. My heart racing

I didn't thinking i was going fast enough to get up the hill. When i pushed down harder on the gas, the tires spun more so i was trying to keep moving without making the tires spin, and it wasnt working. One gloved hand on the steering wheel and one glvoed hand on the shifter, tires spinning in the icy ruts, going up the hill, realizing i'm not going to make it again. But I didn't want to stop, I knew i wouldn't get going again without backing down the hill again. So I kept going, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, felt so erotic. The hill was so icy. I got to a point where the car stopped moving. I have it more gas with my boot but zzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Those feelings, scared but turned on. The car isnt moving up the hill, but i'm enjoying these feelings. Tires spinning on the slick ice. Trying to concentrate on getting up the hill but so turned on. Black shiny boot pushing on the gas. Leather gloves gripping the wheel and making that squeaking sound. Feeling vulnerable. Then suddenly i start slidiing backwards, oh crap
